Dutch Design Week 2

On Saturday, I went to some other expositions of the Dutch Design Week. After having lunch, I went to the TUE, where there were some expositions of the Industrial Design and Architecture Departments. I really enjoyed the first one, where you could see lots of useful inventions, some of them maybe quite simple and others using technologies which I didn't know. The architecture exposition, as there were some projects which were really weird but you could appreciate the amount of work done there. After that, I went to the Philips complex, were I saw the professional expositions. There you could find some new electrical cars, televisions, daily objects, etc. It was nice, but for me the best exposition was the Industrial Design one. Even though, I've to say that it's really interesting to visit this expositions as you aren't aware of the amount of work for designing something (even a beer can or any bag has a previous design, and we usually don't care about it). After that, Halloween party near the Stratum and finishing like always in Sgt. Peppers, taking advantage of the change of hour (we could party one more hour!!).

Dissabte, vaig anar a algunes altres exposicions de la Setmana del Disseny Holandès. Després de dinar, vaig anar a la uni, on hi havia algunes exposicions dels departaments de disseny industrial i arquitectura. Em va agradar molt la primera, on es podia veure un munt d'invents útils, alguns d'ells potser molt simples i altres que utilitzen tecnologies que no desconeixia. L'exposició d'arquitectura, tenia alguns projectes que eren estranys però es podia apreciar la quantitat de treball realitzat. Després d'això, vaig anar al complex de Philips, on vaig veure les exposicions dels professionals. Allà podies veure nous vehicles elèctrics, televisors, objectes quotidians, etc. Va estar força bé, però per mi la millor exposició va ser la de disseny industrial. Tot i això, he de dir que és molt interessant per visitar aquest tipus d'exposicions ja que no som conscients de la quantitat de treball per al disseny d'alguna cosa (fins i tot una llauna de cervesa o de qualsevol bossa té un disseny previ, i en general no ens hi fixem). Després d'això, festa de Halloween, a prop de l'Stratum i com sempre vam acabar al sgt. Peppers, aprofitant el canvi d'hora (vam tenir una hora més de festa!).
