Living with snow

As I told you in the latest post, it has snowed in Eindhoven and it' still white. We were a bit worried about cycling with the snow and the ice but if you cycle carefully there aren't problem. You should be careful while turning right or left that's all. With this freezing temperatures, now it says -6ºC, but the sensation is of -14ºC and cycling you'll need a good pair of gloves and also a wool cap or similar. The good thing is that every main street and all the cycle paths haven't snow, as the machines took the snow out the same day that snowed. The problem is that the sidewalks and the streets from residential areas had snow and with these temperatures has become ice and it's really difficult to walk there. Com ja us vaig avançar en la passada entrada, ha nevat a Eindhoven i encara està tot blanc. Estàvem una mica preocupats per anar amb bici per la neu i el gel, però si vas amb compte no has de tenir problemes. Has de tenir compte al girar a esquerra o dreta i ja està. Amb aquestes temperatures gélides, ara mateix posa que estem a -6ºC però amb sensació tèrmica de -14ºC i anant amb bici necessites uns bons guants i un gorro. Lo bo, es que per tots els carrers i principals i els carrils bici, van passar les màquines el mateix dia de la nevada i no hi ha neu. El problema és que les voreres i els carrers de les zones reidencials tenen neu i amb aquestes temperatures s'ha convertit en gel i és difícil caminar-hi. Aquí teniu les fotos d'alguns Erasmus:
